Our friend and instructor, Derek Barron qualified for PGA Q School, for level one. Now he gets to go onto level two, and from there, three.
As President Mike said yesterday, “I told him, you have to be able to know you can always go out and shoot in the sixties, regularly. And he does.”
He shot 68, 68, 65, 72. Can you imagine? Fifteen under, -15! We are very proud. TGC is such a special place–with Todd, Mike, Craig, Ken, Pat, and Bill–and Derek.
Seven amazing persons, totally dedicated to helping you get better or supporting you being able to practice, by providing a great environment. Not your average golf range, and will only get better in the year ahead with the changes to come.
Lets also send good thoughts to Todd and Craig today, who are down in Eugene, with the University of Puget Sound, who are competing at The Northwest Conference Fall Classic, a collegiate conference competition with six schools down in Eugene today.
This is at Emerald Valley, Golf and Resort. We wish them the best!
When it rains, it pours. Today, President Mike is caddying for his beloved daughter (he has two beloveds daughters!) Abby, at the Club Corp Fall Invitational, at Canterwood. This is part of the Pacific Junior Golf Tour
